The PPSH-41 was designed by the russian Georgi Sjpagin as a cheap alternative for the PPD-40. One of the main cost saving aspects of this rifle was the total lack of screws, bolts and nuts. The production started mid 1941 and by the end of the war more than 6 million were made. After the war they were used untill far in the sixties by russian soldiers. Up to this day the PPSH-41 is used by insurgents, criminals and other irregular groups.
This replica does have some screws fitted to it, but other than that, it is a pretty accurate replica. Made with a real wood stock and full metal body and outer barrel this one weighs in at 3.3 KG.
This replica is fitted fith a adjustable hopup and can shoot semi an fully automatic. With the drum magazine containing 2000 rounds and an inner barrel length of 260 mm this one is a great allround rifle.
